I made it over halfway through NaBloPoMo before getting to the "it's the end of the day and I'm tired and I haven't written a blog post yet but I don't want to lose the challenge" post :) That's allowed once, right?
I've got several posts in the works, including...
~why homebirth?
~why hire a doula?
~two fabulous stocking stuffer ideas
~revisiting a couple of old posts on anger
~reflections on various passages of Scripture and their connections to parenting
...but for tonight, I don't have the mental energy to bring any of them to completion. Instead I'll leave you with questions--what's your favorite type of post I write? What would you like to see me write about during the rest of the month?
My husband and I have a 7 week old, so I'd love to know some of your tips for budgeting in order to stay at home.
ReplyDeleteI like the gutsy, honest posts you write on motherhood. And of course I've already said I enjoy memoirs. Maybe if you get stuck for a post idea, do an alphabetcal one. Just stream-of-conscious style , write "A...and the first thing that "A" makes you think of" wheether in your memory or the present. That sustained me in the A to Z challenge--picking a theme and sticking with it. That way I could be thinking of the next letter for a whole day, but you could do 26 sentences with one thought per letter as one post. Or break it into four posts ?
ReplyDeleteI love Multitude Mondays (I realize that doesn't help you much, since they're just for Mondays). I also love food stuff -- hearing what works for you, good recipes, tips, etc. I'm particularly on the hunt for good slow-cooker recipes these days, so if you've got any of those, please share!
