I actually did remember your middle name and have thought of you because of it many times over the last several months :)Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16877189592741668088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6058212.post-50033487910042113142010-11-11T17:19:48.950-06:002010-11-11T17:19:48.950-06:00AMY! We've been doing an entire series at church right now on Tim Keller's book, Counterfeit Gods, and I was similarly deeply struck by the lesson about Leah.
2. My middle name is actually Jude. And, while my parents' reasons for naming me that weren't nearly as beautiful and poignant as yours, there's definitely something to be said about names. Worship (musical specifically) is one of the callings/hallmarks of my life and I honestly think that's part of the reason that's my middle name. :)

So, all that to say, Jude was given his name long before his conception...not just by you but also by our Father. I can't wait to see in what ways he lives out the meaning to his own name. Very exciting!Nataliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07487815291935939874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6058212.post-21188115136674006562010-11-11T15:15:03.542-06:002010-11-11T15:15:03.542-06:00Oh, this makes me want to weep. I'm finding that two is much harder than one, and that patience truly is a virtue worth seeking after. But most of all, that I can't do this alone. And that doesn't mean my husband and I can, but rather that we cannot do this without first looking to Christ in all things. Seeking and trusting Him for everything. Thank you so much for sharing! I love the meanings behind names. :)LeAnnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10360378882035668129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6058212.post-10934518184401277622010-11-11T15:10:01.356-06:002010-11-11T15:10:01.356-06:00Wow, Amy, what a beautiful story!
