Oh, not fun at all!My parents live in a house built in the 1780s - with 6 fireplaces - and when it rains it's always a crapshoot as to which fireplace will have water coming through!That being said, there's nothing like old houses for character and charm!Jane, Pinks & Blues Girls

Generally, if you can pierce your cast-iron drain pipe with the edge of a putty knife, that's a bad thing.
