Hiatus, Continued

Thought you all might enjoy being greeted by a picture of the little guy--taken first thing in the morning, a few days before his very first haircut. His bedhead was a little out of control, don't you think? :)


I've missed blogging (though I haven't missed the pressure to post frequently). I've also missed blog-reading (I ended up taking a break from all blogs, not just my own, a month ago). I feel so out of the loop, so disconnected from people I love. I think it's been a good thing, though.

I'll be back--I promise--but not yet. I've got lots going on this month and will be out of town some, so it seems best to continue the hiatus. Give me one more month, and with any luck, the July 12 post won't be "Hiatus, Part 3."

Thanks to those of you who have checked back and to those of you who have said you missed Lavender Sparkles. It means a lot. Until next time, I'll leave you with one more photo--in honor of my amazing husband's first Father's Day this weekend.
