Baby Belly: 30 Weeks

I had a request for a new belly photo...so, here I am in all my pregnant glory. Goodness my face looks fat in this picture. And I really need to do something about that hair. Anyway, for the last few weeks I've been saying how I look bigger in the pictures than I feel in real life...but all of a sudden today I feel huge and uncomfortable. You take for granted things like getting up off the couch and rolling over in bed, until you're in your third trimester of pregnancy. And (hopefully) I have another two months to go! Eek!

It's fun to feel the baby rolling around in there. I push on my belly and can feel what I think is a little bottom sticking up, which makes me smile. According to the books and websites, Baby weighs over three pounds now and is around seventeen inches long--just mostly packing on the fat from here on out (try to limit yourself to about five more pounds at most, please, okay little one?).

You look beautiful! Don't worry about feeling like you face is fat- ALL pregnant people feel that way. I refer to it as "pregnant face". It is amazing that as soon as you deliver, your face will go right back to normal. I think your face looks beautiful! But I understand what you are feeling- I feel like that right now, which is probably why I haven't posted any photos :)

I'm so glad that you did! You are gorgeous!!

Ames, you look WONDERFUL!!! I seriously teared up when I saw your picture, you look so pretty. I felt the same exact way about rolling over, getting up off the couch and my face getting pudgy. But Michelle is right, all of those not-so-fun things will disappear as soon as Baby K makes his/her appearance! And you will be happy you have the pictures, even if it's just to laugh at later on :)

Ah, rolling over in bed is such an ordeal. I can't wait to be able to stand up without grunting!

You're looking fabulous mama--I miss you!
