Darling baby! Great picture. I picked up that book you recommended about photography from my library and it looks great. I think I'm going to have to buy it. Thanks!
thanks everyone! :) not completely manual; most people I know whose pics I admire shoot in aperture priority mode so that's what I'm mostly using, and what I used for this pic. then did a little adjusting (like adding soft focus) in Picasa.
So sweet. He is so handsome. Aren't kiddos great muses for photography? :) You are doing great.
PS I shoot aperture priority a lot but always check my histogram...sometimes my camera meters dark so I over expose by a half a stop a lot. I would not tell someone to shoot manual unless they had a light meter or grey card. You gotta read the light with something. A light meter is a must for studio lighting.
I often suffer from spiritual amnesia, easily forgetting who Jesus is and what He has done for me—so I write to remember His faithfulness. I'd love it if you listen in and add your thoughts to the conversation!

So handsome! Did you do that on manual? Either way, a very, very good pic, mama!
