4453. the alarm function on my phone
4454. the fact that regardless of election outcomes, He is on His throne

4455. the fact that the [president's] heart is a stream of water in His hand
4456. the privilege of voting
4457. the ability to do so safely and peacefully
4458. friends with whom I can be real and raw and honest
4459. friends who point me to Jesus and His mercy

4460. old journals from college
4461. freshly scrubbed shower
4462. silly Photobooth session with the boys


4463. the beautiful picture book Autumn Leaves
4464. the variety of colors and shapes of leaves in our neighborhood

4465. long afternoon naps = time to think and write
4466. Jude asking if he could kiss our friends' adorable one-year-old girl
4467. how well Jude communicates--I cannot get over how different it is from when Elijah was this age!

I'm with you on #4472. We jam with the Piano Guys here at the Drees home as well. Great music!

Oh my goodness Sophia talks SO much better than the boys did at her age. Does this not revolutionize your life? She hardly has any tantrums like they did. I think a lot of it had to do with communication frustration. I'm so happy she can already verbally communicate her feelings, telling me "I'm scared" etc.
