Mainstream media are finally giving some attention to the crisis in Sudan rather than settling for coverage of who in Hollywood is dating/cheating on/having a baby with whom. The Today Show's Ann Curry is doing a series all week on the genocide taking place in Darfur. You can read her blog here, with reports from Africa and a photo journal of her trip. Wow! Thanks for sharing these links Amy. That 15 minutes of reading/watching videos gave me a much better sense of what is happening. It is even more horrifying than I thought.
